We ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice before the time of your appointment if you intend to cancel. You can notify us via text to our main number of email to info@barkleysquare.com. You will receive a notification confirming your cancellation. If you do not receive a notification, we have not received your cancellation request. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have been notified of your desire to cancel. If you cancel your appointment with less than 48-hours notice, you will be charged 50% of your grooming fee. If you do not show for your appointment without any advance notification, you will be charged the full grooming fee.

Our preferred method of notifying you in via text. If you prefer, we can also set your notifications to email; however, we do find that clients do not see email notifications as quickly as they do text notifications.

Since we are a cage-free environment, we do not have ample space to house pets waiting for pickup. We will attempt to contact you with about 20 minutes left in the groom to give you a chance to make your way to the spa. We give you a 15-minute grace period after we send you a notification saying your pet is ready for pickup. We charge a $30 fee for the first 15 minutes after your grace period and $15 for every 15 minutes after that.

We require a credit card on file to protect against no-shows and late cancellations. If we have to charge a no-show or late cancellation fee, we will charge your card on file. Your credit card information is stored with our payment processor safely and securely using bank-grade encryption software.

We require our grooming service agreement to be electronically signed before we can confirm any appointment. We also require a pet questionnaire be complete for each pet that you wish to have groomed. This has information about your pet that will help us give you the best service possible. Rest assured, we take your privacy very seriously and will handle your information according to our Privacy Policy.
