VIP Puppy Training Package
A highly-affordable puppy grooming training package based on environmental science for socialization for very young dogs. Starting as early as possible, 8 to 10 weeks or after the first round of vaccinations, this gentle, all-positive program is designed to acclimate puppies to a lifetime of grooming.
8-10 Weeks: 15-minute visit during which the owner stays and the appointment is scheduled when the shop is the quietest. Your puppy will be introduced to the sights, sounds, smells, and experiences of grooming.
10-12 Weeks: 30- to 45-minute visit with a mini bath with some basic training, love, treats and introduction to bathing and drying.
12-14 Weeks: 1-hour visit, full bath and dry, introduction to nail trimming (as breed appropriate), and all positive training reinforcement with love and treats.
16 Weeks: 90-minute visit, as close to a full Neatened & Polished groom as a “no force” method will allow (we never recommend full haircuts on dogs under 6 months of age due to the hair follicle still being in development). Sights, sounds, smells, love, treats, and puppy kisses - and a VIP diploma!
